  Why Global Futbol Training®?

Global Fútbol Training, L.L.C. (heretofore called the Group) not only provides exposure to years and countries of experience and approach but the Group also brings global perspective to the game. The vision of the Group is empower young people to impact the game and for the Group to impact young people both on and off the field.

  1. GFT is not a club & is not affiliated with or a facilitator of any club recruitment in accordance with NTSSA Rule 3.10.
  2. Our goal is to make players better while having fun through training & assessment.

Weekly SKILLS Training is offered year round and are one of the most beneficial training methods in today's soccer world.  Ratio is low from player to trainer, which is great for the players because they can work alone with their own ball & use many other game like drills due to the small numbers.  We also train teams upon request across the DFW area.  Our staff is trained to work with players & build their confidence while having fun. We train some of the top players in the country as well as new players of the game.  All ages can learn very fast & improve because it is individualized.

Our Soccer Camps bring in coaches and players from around the U.S. and the world to Texas & California for intense focus on the individual player. As such, space is limited for training. Year round training is directed by Jeremie Piette, whose multiple accolades and testimonies of success translate into player confidence and accomplishment.

Coaching Clinics are great for new coaches and experienced coaches.  The GFT Staff has experience coaching 4 yrs of age and up.  Learn how a session is run for a team practice and how to teach players skills for each age and/or level.

Check out Jeremie's Biography page for more on his successes both off and on the field throughout his career.  Read his testimonial as to the impact of soccer in his own life and those he has mentored

Our Speed/Agility Training is very popular for our female players age 12-17, as women soccer players are more susceptible to knee injury.  The method we use is similar to what the Miami University strength coach does with their student athletes.  In the Spring & Summer we have Sand Training/Camps lessons, which build the knee better than most methods used in today's speed training.  We take pride in keeping our players healthy and encourage you to view our Health/Nutrition page which has info on how a soccer player should eat and treat their body.
Online Payment is available for for our weekly skills and seasonal camps.  Please view our GFT Store as we have much to offer to you like soccer balls, shirts, water bottles & video.

A Global Perspective

Parents and Athletes,

In U.S. soccer, our youth lack skill and are not improving consistantly as individuals because they are not receiving the proper amount of ball touches and individual attention, essential to rapid improvement.  Global Futbol Training, L.L.C. gives players time alone with the ball in a small group building confidence, which is vital for player development. Players do not need a release from their club to train with GFT because we are not a club nor are we affiliated with any clubs.

Many young players are not receiving the correct basic skills due to there being so many youth involved in soccer across America (i.e. meaning there are parents who are forced to be coaches).  Players may learn much about the game but not the skills needed to become a better player.  The end result of which is youth entering the time frame where the most rapid skill development is possible and should be accelerated but they are behind in their skill level. While skill CAN be developed regardless of age, GFT has found the challenge of reaching skill development age is for the child to remain motivated and excited about soccer instead of being burned out, which occurs in a large percentage of the youth population due to various reasons. Due to the combination of delayed skill development, variation in personal physical development, and the various personality needs of the kids, an individual may not come out of his or her shell until 16 years of age. By then they have either been phased out of soccer or lost crucial development time.

The best players in the world right now are under 26 years of age, while the best players in the U.S. are over 26 years of age.  We take longer to progress due to the lack of technical training in America.  Many fast players do well at a young age, but once they go to college they sit the bench because college coaches want skilled players who can move the ball fast, while many youth coaches want fast players to play "long ball" and score quick goals.  Every pro will tell you they need extra skills training apart from team training to stay sharp and compete with the best.  If you look at all the best players, from college to the pro level, you will notice they might not be the strongest or fastest but they do have technical skill and are strong on the ball.  Many smaller skilled players have trouble getting to the next level because they are not strong on the ball and lose it under physical pressure.  Many super natural athletes have trouble due to their foot skill and timing.  Global Futbol Training knows how to help each individual player develop.

Texas soccer place emphasis on winning before developing individual skills.  This downside is evidenced in youth soccer becoming a business first and therefore the kids are losing out on individual development, both on and off the field.  I have worked with national team players and new soccer players in California,Texas, Colorado, Canada and the Caribbean.   The Texas players lack the most confidence due to the high pressure from the high competitive atmosphere.  I have a passion to help the youth develop and want to give them the opportunity to accomplish their goals.  I truly believe that with the combination of GFT and the great competitive atmosphere from Texas soccer, kids today have much to look forward to.

The "Group" works on many different styles that we have experienced playing at the professional level in N. America, S. America, Europe, Asia and W.I. leagues.  Also Pro experience with Indoor and Beach Soccer.  What Global Futbol Training teaches is great for goalies, defenders, midfielders and forwards.  We look forward to working with both boys and girls, young men and women (from elementary to collegiate and professional) in the Dallas county, Collin county, Denton county & Tarrant county areas.  Players from all ages and abilities are welcome for both camps and weekly skills training.  For players who want to take their game to the next level, we have many contacts with Universities all around the U.S. as well as Pro contacts and Agent contacts around the globe.

God Bless,

Jeremie E. Piette, Founder and CEO
